PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that since, in a conventional engine, a lubrication oil suction passage through which lubrication oil in an oil pan is guided to a lubrication oil pump is formed in a cylinder block, length in a horizontal direction extending from the base end part of a lubrication oil pipe, extending from the end part of the lubrication oil suction passage to the interior of the oil pan, to a suction port formed in the tip part of the lubrication oil suction pipe is increased and oscillation of the lubrication oil suction pipe is widened and thus, though a support bracket is situated at the lubrication oil suction pipe to suppress oscillation, the number of parts is increased. SOLUTION: In a structure where an oil pan 21 is coupled to a cylinder block 15 through a spacer 18, a lubrication oil passage 31 to guide lubrication oil, stored in the oil pan, to a lubrication oil pump 22 is formed in the spacer 18.
