PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent having an excellent feeling of use such as a humectant feeling or a refreshing feeling and excellent preservation stability. SOLUTION: This detergent having the excellent feeling of use such as the humectant feeling or refreshing feeling and excellent preservation stability is obtained by including a saponified material of a marine animal oil. The marine animal oil is preferably a seal oil. The detergent is preferably one kind selected from a toilet soap, a body soap, a shampoo, a cleansing soap and a shaving foam.
