PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain uniform and bright exiting light even in a large light guide plate. SOLUTION: A plastic material 4 which produces mirror finish in the machined trace when the material is machined by a machining means 3 such as a cutting machine or tool is used to process the machined surface 4a into a mirror finished surface. The machined surface 4a of the plastic material 4 is subjected to sputtering, vapor deposition, plating or the like to obtain a stamper 2 by transferring. The obtained stamper 2 is used for the injection molding of the light guide plate.
