PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and conveniently provide an electrode for electroslag remelting. SOLUTION: A plurality of steel materials are superimposed in a direction perpendicular to the melting direction in an electrode, and the steels are joined each other into a consumable electrode to be fed to an electroslag remelting process.
