PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control laser light outputs to an intended pulse width. SOLUTION: When a laser light source-driving means drives a laser light source in conformity with image information, a laser light pulse width becomes narrower than intended by an oscillation delay of the laser light source as indicated in Fig. 1(A). Information on the oscillation delay is stored as pulse width correction information to the laser light source-driving means, and a time while the laser light is turned off when the laser light source is driven is delayed by an amount of the oscillation delay. Accordingly, the laser light pulse width can be corrected to the intended width as shown in Fig. 1(B). The laser light pulse width can be controlled as intended by applying this imaging method to an imaging apparatus, enabling good imaging. |
