PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate holding/controlling of neutral steering and prevent abra sion of a synchromesh, for prolong the service life for an automatic transmis sion. SOLUTION: In the automatic transmission 2 for automatically changing a speed of a manual transmission 1 by actuators, the actuators 42, 43 are controlled so as to be positioned in an NR region nearer to reverse position for reverse gear which is not provided with the synchromesh than the neutral position of reverse and fifth-speed gate, when neutral is demanded by a driver. |
