PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type compressor allowing increase of strength at a central start end of a spiral wall and increase of compressing efficiency by decreasing dead volume. SOLUTION: Thickness of the central start end 101 of the spiral wall 12b is increased in two step shape toward the root side of an end plate 12a, and a delivery port 25 is disposed at a position at which a part of the port overlaps on a thickness increasing region N of a step shape part D.
