PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container wherein an electric device is held stably and precisely. SOLUTION: The container is configured to store an electric device comprising a main body for storing electric elements and at least two lead wires which project from the main body so as to be electrically connected to the electric elements, while a top opening area and a bottom area are provided in the container. In the container, a recess is provided to receive electric devices in such a manner that the devices are inserted into the recess through the top opening area, while a pair of projections are provided to suppress the movement of the electric devices in a first direction normal to a second direction oriented toward the bottom area from the top opening area. The projections each include supporting surfaces, being opposed to each other in the first direction. The interval between the projections in the first direction is set such that each of the supporting surfaces simultaneously contacts the electric device so that the movement of the device in the first direction is prevented, while the movement thereof in the second direction is reduced.
