PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing master plate which can efficiently use heat for image formation, which has high sensitivity and excellent printing durability and which suppresses contamination in a non-image part. SOLUTION: The lithographic printing master plate has a particle layer consisting of particles having 8 to 800 nm average particle size and a thermosensitive layer in which an image can be formed by exposure to IR laser light on an aluminum support prepared by forming an anodically oxidized film on an aluminum plate.
