<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional engaging device, without increasing manufacturing cost, capable of reducing gear noises and preventing an erroneous assembly. SOLUTION: In a frictional engaging device for automatic transmission comprised of alternately arranged plural driven plates 30, spline-fitted in a transmission 1, and plural driving plates 5, spline-fitted in a rotor hub, each spline groove 10 formed in the transmission case 1 has continually formed plural groove regions having each groove with duly increased widths, step by step from the top through the casting withdrawal side. The driven plates 30 have different spline teeth corresponding to groove widths of each groove region and pitches of neighboring spline grooves 10.</p> |
