PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light transmissive recording material for electrophotography, with which a projected image has excellent color reproducibility, without being wound round a fixing roll in the case of using an OHP even when wax is used as a release agent. SOLUTION: In the light transmissive recording material 3 for electrophotography having a toner-receiving layer 2 containing thermoplastic resin and wax on transparent base material 1, the shape of the wax is made acicular.
