PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which is hard to be damaged and deformed against the impact loads, such as fall. SOLUTION: The actuator is equipped with a movable plate 102, a pair of torsion bars 104 being elastic members for supporting the plate 102, and a pair of fixing members 106 holding the torsion bars 104. The pair of torsion bars 104 are symmetrically and linearly extended from the both sides of the movable plate 102, and are terminated at the fixing member 106. The torsion bar 104 has fixed thickness, and has the width which is largest in both ends and smallest in the center and which linearly decreases as it approaches to the center from both ends. That is, in the area of the half of the length of the torsion bar 104, the torsion bar 104 has the cross section which continuously decreases as it approaches to the center from the edge.
