PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens barrel where a photographic optical system having different specification or different constitution is selectively constituted by using the same lens driving mechanism. SOLUTION: This zoom lens barrel having the photographic optical system has a plurality of 1st guiding means (cam ring 4c) guiding the photographic optical system to perform focusing operation in accordance with a set focal distance when the photographic optical system is set to the specified focal distance, and a plurality of 2nd guiding means (cam ring 4c) formed continuously to the 1st guiding means, arranged alternately and guiding one part of the photographic optical system to perform variable power operation. Then, the 1st guiding means and/or the 2nd guiding means is provided to exceed the variable power range of the photographic optical system.
