PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FM-CW radar apparatus for road surveillance capable of acquiring the correct reception strength of a traveling vehicle and accurately calculating the angle needed as the position information of the vehicle. SOLUTION: Frequency analysis means data for a road environment are held in advance for each scanning beam as an aerial is scanned, and the angle is accurately calculated by extracting only the reception strength of the target.
