PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-open can lid in which a tab is easily folded up to a predetermined angle to enable an operator's finger to engage with the tab, and subsequently the tab integrally works as a lever and then the can be easily opened even in a negative pressure small diameter can. SOLUTION: An easy-opening slit 11 is formed at a tab panel surface 5 between a central position of a rivet hole 7 and a rear end edge 15 of a finger hole 3, to control in such a way that the rear segment of the tab may be easily folded up to a predetermined angle so as not to be bent at an angle more than a predetermined angle, to cross orthogonal to a straight line passing through a tab extremity end position 9 and a tab rear end position 10. When a finger engages with the tab rear end to raise the tab during opening operation, the tab is bent from the slit 11 for the easy-opening port, the tab is bent from the slit 11 for the easy-opening operation up to a predetermined angle, and it is further turned to such an angle that the opening end edges of the slit 11 for the easy-opening operation are abutted to each other, resulting in that a rigidity of the tab is maintained and the tab realizes the lever function to perform an initial opening.
