PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce decoupling shock, and securely achieve decoupling in a coupling/decoupling device for a booster rocket from a rocket. SOLUTION: A thrust strut 10 for coupling the booster rocket to a rocket body is composed of cases 1 and 2 connected to each other by screw parts 3, and the case 1 has thickness t11 and t12, where t11>t12. The case 2 has thickness t21 and t22, where t21>t22. A holder 43 is engaged with the outer circumference of the case 2 on the outer side, a groove 44 is provided along the whole circumference of the holder 43, and molded explosive 46 is inserted into the groove 44. The cases 1 and 2 face the groove 44 at their thin parts, and compression load is received by the case 1 and an abutment part 5, while tensile load is received by the case 2. Since the tensile load is small, the thickness t22 of the thin part of the case 2 can be thinner. By explosion of the explosive 46, the thin part is ruptured, thereby decoupling shock can be reduced.
