PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with a popup means which is simple in structure, does not require installation space so much and automatically pops up a popup stroboscope accompanying the rotation of a rotary frame in a photographic lens barrel. SOLUTION: This camera is equipped with the photographic lens barrel 10 provided so that a lens moving frame 13 is moved along an optical axis O between a collapsing position P1 and a photographing position P2 with the rotation of the rotary frame 12, and the stroboscope 20 provided to irradiate a subject. The camera is also equipped with the popup means (including an energizing mechanism 30, a lock mechanism 40 and a releasing mechanism 50) PA for moving the stroboscope 20 from a housing position H0 in a camera main body 1 to a stroboscope using position H1 outside the main body 1 when the frame 12 attains a set rotational angleθ1.
