PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of bent top boards out of which the one using a woody core material such as plywood or a particle board as a core and having a facing plate adhered on the surface is primarily used heretofore for a furniture member, a building member or the like, that the moisture penetrating through a joint, an end part or the like causes a swell, corrosion and others thereof and it is difficult to use the same for a long period in a water section such as a kitchen or a toilet room, in particular. SOLUTION: A recess is provided in an appropriate place of a thick facing material constituted of a surface layer of a resin material and a core layer, with the surface layer left as it is. The surface layer positioned at the recess is heated, as occasion calls, and bent by bringing an implement into contact therewith. A connective fitting is fitted to the position opposite to the surface layer and a curable resin is injected into a space surrounded by the surface layer and the connective fitting and is cured and machined integrally. By this bending method, a bent article of a top board product or the like solving the usual problem is obtained. |
