PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder in which a plurality of tube pumps can be arranged in a small space through a simple arrangement, and individual suction can be dealt with through a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: The ink jet recorder comprises a plurality of recording heads 1 (1BK, 1Y, 1M, 1C), and a recovery tube pump performing suction by deforming tubes 3BK, 3Y, 3M and 3C, communicating with the ejection opening of respective recording heads 1BK, 1Y, 1M and 1C while being guided by a tube guide 8, by means of pressure rolls 5 wherein the tubes 3BK, 3Y, 3M and 3C are arranged on the tube guide 8 on the same circumference at such positions as they impart deformation to the pressure rolls 5 independently from each other. |
