PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide module having structure where resin projecting at the connection part of an optical waveguide element and an optical fiber block does not generate stress and stress produced by the deformation of a tray caused by heat or fixing with a screw is never transmitted to the optical waveguide element. SOLUTION: Lest the resin projecting at the connection part of the optical waveguide element and the optical fiber block generates stress because of contact with the tray, spot facing work or grooving work is given to the tray. Furthermore, the tray is formed to have such thickness as prevents stress produced by the deformation caused by heat or fixing with a screw from being transmitted to the optical waveguide element.
