摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of observing multilaterally the dynamic contact state of friction and its device from information such as the micro destructive state of a friction surface, the generation state of an abrasion newly- generated surface, the interaction state between the abrasion newly-generated surface and ambient molecules, the generation state of microplasma or the like, by measuring simultaneously charged particles and an AE signal generated from a dynamic contact part between a solid and a solid. SOLUTION: This contact state observation method and its device are characterized by collecting the charged particles generated at the friction contact part between a slider and a test subject by applying a positive or negative voltage, detecting the particles as a signal, detecting a signal of acoustic emission generated when part of the material of the subject is broken on the friction surface, starting simultaneously measurement of both signals, and integrating respective signals.
