PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily installable cowl cover of a car allowing the streamlined installation operation thereof by hook system. SOLUTION: When the rear end part 16 of a cover body part 11 formed of an elastic plate material bent in a chevron shape is installed on a body in the state of being in contact with the outer surface of a windshield 3 and the cover body part 11 is pressed down against the elastic force thereof, a deformation part 17 is elastically deformed to be spread in the longitudinal direction of the body, and the fitting angle of a plurality of clips 12 installed at the rear end part of a cover body part to the windshield is varied generally in the same direction as the inclination angle of the windshield. When the cover body part is pressed into the front end edge of the windshield, the clips are moved to the rear front end edge of the windshield, and the front end edge of the windshield is held between the rear end part of the cover body part and the clips. The front end edge of the windshield can be held by easily varying the fitting angle of the clips to the windshield by a pressing operation.
