PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a danger such as derailment by decentralizing lateral force, acting in a width direction, of snow removal resistance acting on a plough with regard to a snowremoving car for a track and a method for snow removal, which allow fallen snow on the track to be pushed out. SOLUTION: The snowremoving car for the track is provided with a vehicle, a plough provided on side of the front end of the vehicle at a slant relative to the vehicle, and an auxiliary blade provided obliquely with respect to the vehicle on the side of the rear end of the plough on the side of the rear end of the vehicle. The end of the auxiliary blade is protruded from the rear end of the plough in the direction of the breadth of the vehicle.
