PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing using a cold dyeing reactive dye by a simple method, with which a fixation ratio of the dye to an object to be dyed is approximately 100%. SOLUTION: An object 1 to be dyed is permeated with an alkali solution 3 comprising 5 g-12 g of soda ash based on 1 L of water and then, dried. Water is mixed with sodium alginate to form an aqueous solution of sodium alginate, which is mixed with a cold dyeing reactive dye referred to as Procion M having a specific structure to give a dye for dyeing. The object to be dyed is subjected to brush dyeing by using the dye for dyeing with a spray gun. After the dyeing, the object 1 is dried and cleaned after drying.
