IMAGE FORMING METHOD AND TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method having little decrease in the developer carrying property of a developing sleeve or deterioration in a solid image, caused by the long-term use in a low temperature and low humidity environment or in a high temperature and high humidity environment. SOLUTION: The weight average particle size of the toner ranges from 3μm to 9μm. The toner shows the main peak molecular weight Mp in the range from 5,000 to 40,000 the weight average molecular weight Mw from 40,000 to 2,000,000 and the Mw/Mn of Mw to the number average molecular weight Mn from 1.5 to 100 by gel permeation chromatography(GPC) of the THF(tetrahydrofuran)-soluble component. The toner has 1 to 60 mass% THF- insoluble content. The average circularity of the toner measured by a flow type particle image measuring device, which ranges from 0.930 to 0.995 with <0.080 standard deviation for circularity.
