HEAT INSULATING/SOUND ABSORBING EXECUTION METHOD FOR BUILDING AND HEAT INSULATING/SOUND ABSORBING MATERIAL USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently installing a heat insulating/sound absorbing material on the floor surface and wall face of a building stretched with pipes or the like and to provide the heat insulating/sound absorbing material used therefor. SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric structural body laminated with nonwoven fabrics is used for this heat insulating/sound absorbing material. A plurality of notches of a fixed depth are provided at proper intervals on the surface of the nonwoven fabric structural body, and the nonwoven fabric on the surface layer of the nonwoven fabric structural body is peeled off to form grooves. The grooves for storing the pipes or the like can be easily formed on the heat insulating/sound absorbing material at a site, and the pipes or the like can be stably installed on the floor surface and the wall face in a covered state by adapting the pipes or the like to the grooves.
