PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developing photosensitive material having high sensitivity, low fog and excellent preserving property after images are formed. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a photosensitive liquid for a heat developing photographic sensitive material containing photosensitive silver halide particles is carried out by supplying silver ions to an aqueous solution or suspension of alkali salts of organic acids containing photosensitive silver halide particles to prepare an organic silver salt dispersion, desalting and dehydrating the dispersion by a centrifugal separation method, chemically sensitizing with a compound containing chalcogen atom. Or after the organic silver salt dispersion is prepared, the dispersion is chemically sensitized with a compound containing chalcogen atoms and then subjected to the desalting and dehydrating process by the centrifugal separation method.
