PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size and a weight of an engine in a valve system of the engine in which a rocker arm interlocked and connected to an engine valve is supported to a rocker shaft fixedly supported by a cylinder head so as to be capable of rocking depending on a rotation of a cam shaft. SOLUTION: An attitude of the rocker shaft 99 is determined so as to have an axial line intersecting with respect to an axial line of a crankshaft on a projection drawing to a plane orthogonal to an axial line of a cylinder bore. The rocker arm 101 supported to the rocker shaft to be capable of rocking is provided with an input arm 101c extending to the cam shaft side from the rocker arm 101 on the projection drawing, and a pull rod 105 reciprocating in an axial direction depending on the rotation of the cam shaft is coupled to the input arm 101c.
