PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underfloor housing device effectively usable of an underfloor space and having a high sound insulating effect. SOLUTION: This underfloor housing device is to be set in an under floor space 11 formed between a floor board 13 having a housing port 14 and a foundation 12. This device comprises a pair of inside struts 16 and 16 raised near the housing port 14 of the space 11, a pair of outside struts 17 and 17 raised in positions separated from the housing port 14 of the space 11, and a pair of beam members 18 and 18 erected between the inside struts and outside struts, respectively. A housing box 19 is movably suspended between the beam members 18 and 18 by a guide roller unit 33. Since the housing box is suspended by the beam members, the height of the housing box can be set to the full underfloor height to use the underfloor height to the full. Further, since the housing box is moved in the state suspended from the beam members, the traveling sound transmitted to the foundation of the floor can be significantly reduced, and generation of a noise can be consequently prevented.
