PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof snow-melting apparatus which solves an inconvenience of termination of roof snow-melting operation thereof in spite of remaining of snow on a roof or an inconvenience of continuous operation thereof in spite of absence of snow, by setting a termination delay time for termination delay control executed when automatic roof snow-melting operation is terminated depending on the intensity of snowing, to thereby carry out economical automatic roof snow-melting operation. SOLUTION: According to the apparatus, the termination delay time for terminating the automatic roof snow-melting operation is set depending on an ambient temperature, an average temperature, a snowing duration, etc., which are obtained at the time of detection of snowing termination by a snowing detecting section 1. Therefore, the termination delay time can be set to an optimal value, based on snowing conditions and the intensity of snowing, which solves the inconvenience of termination of the automatic roof snow-melting operation with snow on the roof due to insufficient snow-melting, or the inconvenience of continuation of the automatic roof snow-melting operation without snow on the roof. In this manner, the apparatus can carry out the suitable termination delay control of the automatic roof snow-melting operation.
