PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable body capable of improving its operating efficiency by keeping the movable body to travel even when travel driving means is overloaded. SOLUTION: A stacker crane for travelling along a travel rail with the drive of a wheel is provided with a travel electric motor M2 connected to the travel wheel and an inverter 15 for controlling the speed of the motor M2 in accordance with a speed command value from a crane control device. A travel control part 31 is provided for reducing the acceleration/deceleration of the stacker crane when a current value fedback from the inverter 15 exceeds a rated current value for the motor M2. In this construction, the current value is fedback from the inverter 15 and the acceleration/deceleration of the stacker crane is restricted depending on the current value, whereby the stacker crane can be kept to travel and the operating efficiency of the stacker crane can be improved even when an unpredictable overload occurs.
