A fixed tool half(3) and moving tool half(6) lie on opposite sides of two additional tool halves(10,11) which move relative to the other two halves and form two mold parting planes in which cavities(20,21) are created. Both additional tool halves have a mechanism(22) which, when the mold is open, enables a basic molding to be moved from a first to a second cavity to allow a further material component to be injected onto it. An Independent claim is also included for a process for injection molding a product in different plastic components in which; a) in a first stage a first plastic melt is injected into a first cavity in a first parting plane to form a basic molding(25); b) in a second stage with an open tool the molding is moved from the first into a second cavity; c) a further plastic component is injected onto the basic molding in the second cavity which lies in a second parting plane between the moving tool half and an additional tool half(10,11) . |
