<p>There is provided an apparatus for displaying two-dimensional image by synthesizing a background and a graphic to each other in translucence, characterized by a single display buffer (26) into which background data and graphic data both having been processed in translucence are stored, and into which RGB data is stored, said RGB data being produced by processing images in translucence in an order where a deeper image as viewed from a display screen is earlier processed.
