PURPOSE: A vending machine for game and advertisement and its control method are provided, which machine has the game function and the remote-controlled advertisement effect in addition to the vending function. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of controlling the ad remotely and displaying the ad on the display part(10) of a vending machine; sensing whether a coin is inserted into the machine or not during displaying of the ad and taking out the product selected by a user if the coin is inserted into the machine; displaying the kind of a game on the display part(10) when the product is taken out; selecting the kind of a game on the selection part(50) and inputting the result of the game; determining whether the input result and the real result of the game; and providing a gift certificate or a lottery ticket for a user if the result is determined to be equal.
