PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip-up type vehicular seat suitable for a second seat, capable of easily conducting a forward flip-up action, keeping a flip-up angle constant, and ensuring a large getting on/off space. SOLUTION: By the full operation of a lock releasing lever 42, an interlocking mechanism 50 of a seat slide device 10 is actuated, and a lock of a slide latch 33 provided on an operating rod 32 and a lock hole 24 of a lower rail 20 is released. By a helper spring mechanism 31, an upper rail 30 is made to self- travel from a frontmost state or a rearmost state of a seat to a neutral position with regard to the lower rail 20. In the middle of self-traveling of the upper rail 30, a lock-on state of the interlocking mechanism 50 keeping a releasing state of the slide lock is automatically released. The slide latch 33 is engaged with the lock hole 24 of the lower rail 20 at the neutral position.
