PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure the level of a liquid housed in an opaque container without opening its stopper from outside. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a plurality of measuring modules 11 disposed with spacings in the height direction on the outside of a container C storing a liquid. Each measuring module 11 comprises a means for heating the outside of the container C, temperature sensors disposed with spacings near the heating means for detecting the temperature of the outside of the heated container C, and means 19 for pressing the heating means and the temperature sensors to the outside of the container.
