PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily mountable vibration reducing device for a plate, having a simple, light and small-sized structure with a small number of components while having vibration damping effect expectable throughout a wide frequency range. SOLUTION: This vibration reducing device is mounted to a hole 6 provided in a plate material 5, and is equipped with an elastic body 2 in which a pair of large diameter parts 2a, 2b having larger diameter than the inner diameter of the hole 6 of the plate material 5 are mutually connected by a small diameter connecting part 2c and a circular recessed part 2d having a larger width than the plate thickness of the plate material 5 is formed between large diameter parts 2a, 2b, and a weight 3 supported by the elastic body 2. The circular recessed part 2d of the elastic body 2 is fitted in the hole 6 of the plate material 5.
