PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mid gate installation structure of a sports utility truck capable of assuring a stability and a durability by reinforcing the structure of the portion of a body for mounting a mid gate thereon and minimizing a deformation caused in a deck space at the rear of the body. SOLUTION: This mid gate installation structure of the sports utility truck comprises a rear floor panel, deck floor panels installed on the rear floor panel a specified intervals, a closing panel for directly connecting the vehicle forward sides of the deck floor panels to the rear floor panel, a mid gate having a rear end part connected to the closing panel and a front end part connected to the mid gate hinge, and a mid gate mounting panel having one end connected to the rear floor panel and an upper surface fixed to the mid gate hinge.
