PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a plate-shaped object with a resin frame capable of forming the resin frame having a good shape to the peripheral edge of a plate-shaped object having corners. SOLUTION: A resin frame 3A is formed to the first side 1A forming a corner 14 and a resin frame 3B is next formed to a second side 1B so as to form a superposed part 15 to the corner 14, and the ends of the resin frames 3A and 3B of the respective sides are mutually cut at the corner 14 to be abutted and bonded.
