PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a printing deviation between printing by an electrophotographic output mechanism part and printing by an ink jet output mechanism part. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has a structure in which the electrophotographic output mechanism part 12 is arranged on the same paper transfer path 16, and the ink jet output mechanism part 21 is arranged to the downstream side of the electrophotographic output mechanism part 12. When an image is formed by the electrophotographic output mechanism part 12 on a recording paper 13, the electrophotographic output mechanism part 12 forms also a control marking to a non image region. There is provided a detecting means 22 for detecting the control marking of the printed image by the electrophotographic output mechanism part 12 after the image is fixed. The ink jet output mechanism part 21 specifies a printing position for a printing image on the basis of the detected result of the control marking by the detecting means 22. |
