PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search the position of input and output equipment such as printer even in the change of the arrangement thereof to obtain physical arrangement information. SOLUTION: Receiver arrays consisting of a plurality of receivers are orthogonally arranged on a floor, the transmission signal from the input and output equipment mounting a transmitter is received while successively switching the receivers of the receiver arrays, and the array position information of the receiver receivable with the lowest receiving sensitivity is taken as the position coordinate of the input and output equipment.
