PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enabling the opening of a door of a safe equipped with an opening/closing mechanism composed of a dial mechanism and a key mechanism even when a number for dialing is forgotten. SOLUTION: After a vibrator 11 is fixed to the dial whose turning is stopped, a key 19 is inserted into a keyhole of the key mechanism, and a rubber ring 21 is inserted into a hole of a finger grip of the key 19 and hooked on the vibrator 11 for the purpose of urging the key 19 in the direction of unlocking. After that, a motor is driven to impart vibrations to the dial by means of the vibrator 11 and impart random motion in a rotational direction to respective discs of the dial mechanism. When notched grooves of the respective discs happen to correspond to one another, the fitting of a pawl into the notched groove brings about the advance of a lever urged in the direction of the advance of the key mechanism in order to make a key part of a lever end disengaged from a key groove.
