PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently strength muscular strength necessary for recovery of walking functions. SOLUTION: This self-standing tricycle 1 is provided with a small sprocket 5 installed on a rear wheel shaft 3 through a free wheel clutch 4, a crankshaft 10 rotatably installed on a frame 6 under a saddle 8, a large sprocket 11 installed on the crankshaft 10, a chain 12 stretched around the large sprocket 11 and the small sprocket 5, crank arms 13 and 14 of which one end parts are installed on the crankshaft 10, rods 15 and 15 of which upper end parts are rotatably installed to the other end parts of the crank arms 13 and 14, pedals 19 and 20 of which rear end parts are rotatably installed on lower end parts of the rods 15 and 16, and a pedal guide to guide the pedals 19 and 20 along guide rails 24 and 25 provided at a lower part of the frame 1 to be movable forward and backward to each other. |
