PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can surely communicate with an IC chip irrespective of a size and a type of display cards. SOLUTION: The printer is provided with a printing means 30 for printing to the display card 14, and a communication means 28 for communicating with the IC chip 22 built in the display card. A width of an antenna 24 of the communication means is set so that a transmission/reception area of the antenna meets a width of a printing head 38 of the printing means. |
