WATER QUALITY SENSOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality sensor having a simple constitution and high in the connection reliability between a lead wire and an electrode. SOLUTION: In the water quality sensor constituted so that a pair of terminal electrodes 2 are directly brought into contact with a liquid to be detected and water quality is measured on the basis of the electromotive force generated between terminal electrodes 2 (2a and 2b), the terminal electrode 2a made of silver and the terminal electrode 2b made of platinum are respectively connected to lead wires 3 (3a and 3b) and a silver chloride film is formed on the terminal electrode 2a made of silver on the leading end side of the connection part of the terminal electrode 2a and the lead wire 3a.
