<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the dispersibility of a pigment or the fluidity of a compounded stock to be remarkably improved by selecting the composition of the surface coating layer of a pigment. SOLUTION: In this surface-coated pigment, the inner coating layer is a silica layer and the outer coating layer is a mixed layer comprising (1-3C)- alkyl-modified silica and (4-18C)-alkyl-modified silica and/or phenyl-modified silica.</p> |
