<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge controllable resin suitable for a toner which excels in electrostatic performances such as a charged amount, a charged am ount distribution, the initial charging rate and is freely colorable and excels in safety for human beings and the environment, to provide a toner resin compo sition using the charge controllable resin, and a toner using the toner resin composition. SOLUTION: The charge control resin comprises a compound having an ionic point in the main chain and/or at the main chain terminal. The above charge control resin comprises a compound whose ionic point is a quaternary ammonium salt. The toner resin composition comprises >=1 wt.%, based on the sum of a toner resin and the charge control resin, the above charge control resin.
