PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for an image carrier with which high image quality is obtained by eliminating the speed fluctuation of the image carrier which is generated by the tooth-engagement of gears. SOLUTION: In this driving device for an image carrier, a motor pulley 3 whose center of rotation is the same as that of the rotor of a motor 2 and which is made to be one body with the shaft of the motor 2 is provided and the motor pulley 3 and a pulley 4 whose center of rotation is the same as that of an image carrier 1 are joined by a belt 5 and the rotational force of the motor 2 is transmitted to the image carrier 1. |
