PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device unabrasive at start-stop time, and capable of releasing electrostatic which electrifies a rotary member. SOLUTION: In this dynamic pressure bearing device, at least one of contact surfaces contacting when stopping rotation of a rotary body and a fixing body is covered with ceramics or DLC, having volume resistivity which is not more than 1010Ω.cm.
