PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a composition for a heat shrinkable polypropylene shrinkage label having an ultralow specific gravity and improved heat shrinkage percentage and a film using the resin composition. SOLUTION: This resin composition for the heat shrinkable polypropylene shrinkage label comprises >95 and <100 wt.% of a crystalline propylene-α-olefin random copolymer consisting essentially of propylene and having specific physical properties and <5 wt.% of an alicyclic hydrocarbon resin having >=110 deg.C softening point temperature. The film uses the resin composition.
